About Us
As a nurse-owned practice, our focus is always on people first. We believe in enhancing natural beauty with ethical and high-quality care. We do not over treat and if something is not right for you we will always explain why. Our goal is to provide safe, thoughtful results that help you feel confident while staying true to who you are.

The Start of Artistry Medical Aesthetics
Founded in 2018, the practice is led by Kelly Antes, BSN, RN, who brings nearly two decades of nursing experience to the field of aesthetic medicine. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent the majority of her clinical career working in critical care and cardiology, where patient safety, careful assessment, and evidence-based decision-making are essential every day. That foundation in bedside nursing continues to guide how she practices today. That foundation in bedside nursing continues to guide how she practices today.
About Kelly
Kelly spent several years training, attending advanced courses, and gradually building her clientele while continuing her hospital work. In 2018, she co-founded the practice with her mother, combining their nursing backgrounds and shared interest in aesthetic medicine. Over time, Kelly expanded the practice and developed her own patient base, and today she independently owns and operates Artistry Medical Aesthetics in Bellingham following her mother’s retirement.

A Thoughtful Approach to Aesthetic Medicine
Kelly approaches aesthetic medicine very differently from many practices in the industry. Her philosophy is simple: Nothing is ever required. Aesthetic treatments are optional tools that can help someone feel refreshed, confident, and comfortable in their own skin. They should never be presented as something a person needs in order to be beautiful. Rather than chasing trends or dramatic transformations, Kelly focuses on healthy skin, subtle rejuvenation, and results that enhance the beauty her patients already possess. Her goal is always the same: natural results that are never obvious or overdone. As she often tells patients, “The best injectable is not detectable.”
Science, Safety, and Education First
Every treatment offered at Artistry Medical Aesthetics is grounded in science and evidence based medicine. Kelly carefully selects treatments, technologies, and products that have been extensively studied, clinically tested, and supported by peer-reviewed research. Her training includes advanced anatomy education, including cadaver-based training, allowing her to perform treatments with a deep understanding of facial structures and safety considerations. Patient education is the cornerstone of her practice. Consultations are intentionally thorough so patients understand their options, expected outcomes, and whether a treatment is appropriate for them. Sometimes the best recommendation is not to proceed with treatment at all and Kelly believes honesty is an essential part of ethical aesthetic medicine.

A Personal, Relationship-Focused Practice
Artistry Medical Aesthetics is intentionally a single-provider practice. When patients visit the clinic, they are always treated directly by Kelly. This allows her to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and consistency while building long-term relationships with the patients she serves. Many patients have been with the practice since its earliest days, and Kelly considers it a privilege to be trusted with their care. Her goal is not simply to provide treatments, but to create a space where patients feel comfortable, informed, respected and confident in the care they receive.
Skin Health First
At its core, Artistry Medical Aesthetics is about supporting skin health. The skin is the body’s largest organ and the one we present to the world every day. When it is cared for properly, patients often feel more confident, refreshed, and aligned with how they see themselves. Kelly views aesthetic medicine as a blend of clinical science and artistry using carefully chosen tools and treatments to support healthy, natural-looking results.
